CISSEM invited to participate in US Department of Energy SunShot Summit

At the invitation of the Department of Energy, CISSEM Director Neal Armstrong, Associate Director David Ginley, and Principal Investigator Joseph Berry represented CISSEM at the SunShot Grand Challenge: Summit and Technology Forum on June 13-14 in Denver, CO. They presented a poster describing some of the highlights of our research activity relevant to DOE-EERE funded research efforts on PV technologies. The event focused on the SunShot Initiative goals of achieving grid-parity solar energy within the decade. The event was well attended by scientists, utility companies, manufacturers, and policymakers focused on solar technologies, and so proved to be an excellent opportunity to share ongoing CISSEM research.
